• What DEAR is (and what it isn't)...
How does DEAR's program cost much less than the big name programs and still provide answers where the others fail?
Our program is mastery-based, structured, and individualized. DEAR focuses on all of the various facets of dyslexia with a fantastic success rate. Other programs cost thousands of dollars, hundreds of hours, and often leave students and parents discouraged in the end.
We don't have any curriculum to buy. We don't use colored lenses or overlays, large or small motor movement exercises, nor is our program based on a dietary protocol. It's not vision therapy, nor do we use chemicals or medicines. We don't recommend tutoring and/or tools to address the "glitches" to help the student "get by." We don't do brain massage, right/left brain therapy, and DEAR certainly does not offer a band-aid.
God Himself knew dyslexia would exist, and He told the world how to deal with the root issue. He even told us what the answer would be.
In Matthew 6:22-23 and Luke 11:34-36, He explained how enshrouded a dyslexic’s life could become without help. DEAR approaches dyslexia the way God said to resolve the issue.

• A little more about our program
In DEAR’s program the dyslexic’s brain "defrags" and therefore is able to send a correct signal to both eyes to work together. The brain "defrags" incrementally as the two eyes learn how to work together with the brain. Each student is on their own time frame. DEAR is mastery based, so the student progresses as they master each step. The student and their coach (usually the parent) work together twice a day for 10-15 minutes, 5-6 days a week, and meet with a Certified DEAR Instructor for 30 minutes once a week. Occasionally a student may need more time to progress through the structured steps. DEAR is committed to staying with the student until graduation from the program, provided that the coach and student are willing to continue fulfilling their personal commitment of twice a day at home and meeting with the instructor each week.
• How to get started
The first step is to schedule a free consultation by contacting DEAR by phone or email.
The free consultation can be conducted virtually for non-local residents or in person at DEAR’s Tulsa, Oklahoma, office. The consultation does not involve any written tests or reading by the student. Instead it is a comprehensive group of questions which examines dyslexia from every angle. Based upon these answers, the DEAR Instructor is able to tell the parent whether their student is or is not dyslexic. In addition, the parent will also learn of the 3 major areas in which dyslexia can affect humans. The Instructor will also discuss how many of the 3 areas are manifesting in their student’s life. Parents may wish to discuss the consultation results at home before deciding to enroll their student in DEAR. Others decide on Consultation Day and place their student on the schedule for enrollment.
At enrollment the $300 registration fee is due if the parent decides to make payments toward the current balance of $1,200 (which is subject to change as DEAR stays abreast of the rising cost of living). Those choosing to pay up front currently receive a $200 discount.
There is never any additional money required should the student need more than the average amount of time. Our goal is to help the student become dyslexia-free and make DEAR’s answer for dyslexia affordable.
